For any independent artist looking to release a single (or album), it's amazing much prep work needs to done prior to release.
It's usual in the music biz for 12 weeks (3 months) of hard labour to be expelled prior to release date. This may come as a bit of a shock in this on-demand, 24/7, everything at the click of a button society that we live in, but if you are serious about maximum success from your release you should set a 12 week lead time to a release date and follow tried and tested processes.
