An incredible journey for British songwriter WILL ECHO comes to a climax next week with the release of the new 10 track album ‘SILVER’ on Gohil Records.
2025 has been such an exhilarating year of self development for Will, with both musical and lyrical exploration through extensive collaboration with many wonderfully talented musicians and poets.
The album ‘SILVER’, a continuation of Echo's unique brand of guitar driven contemporary Britpop, draws on all those magical moments and groups them into one musical delight.
The sonic tones and emotions of ‘SILVER’ will transport you through angry, raging over-driven electric guitars to soft and mellow acoustic melodies; through complex harmonies and contemporary textures and beats.
‘SILVER’ s is Echo's tenth studio album and marks a new zenith in the upward trajectory of the highly regarded British journeyman. The release is true to his mantra “dare to be different”, and in keeping with Will's values of placing independent music above all else, every note, every beat and every tweak of a production processor or whispered word has been manufactured by either Will or his collaborator on ‘Silver’ James Livett. Indeed the process is carried through to post production duties with Will mixing every song and James mastering the album.
The title for ‘SILVER’ is derived from the the song ‘SKY’ - the second track on Echo's ‘SEA’ EP which begins with the immortal line “The sky a silver”.
