The latest Will Echo release is the single ‘Listen’, the first new simmering Britpop passion poem song from the forthcomming EP ‘Infinity’.
LISTEN scratches at the scars, fears and battles of lost love, with a pulsating spinning backing track that continuously spits bile and promises to explode from the underlying, introspective, sombre tone, a promise that is fullfilled in the screaming crescendo. With vivid, surreal and sometimes violent imagery, LISTEN cuts open the pain of lost love and the nightmare that the one true love will somehow escape you. Although a darker and more introspective tone to much of Echo's work, LISTEN captures the raw performance and awkward edgyness that has become his trademark - as honest as ever, and as exposed as ever, with every emotion laid bare.
The new song ‘Listen’ coninues the collaboration with fellow Britpop musician James Livett, and is released on 8th August 2025 via Gohil Records, being available via all the usual music hosting platforms.
‘Listen’ is the first ‘Will Echo’ single from the forhcomming EP ‘Infinity’. Infinity being the second collection of songs that sets the words of legendary American poet E.E. Cummings to music.
